Beni Kocher, as Electric bandit with civil name is called, was already confronted for the first time at the tender age by 11 years with electronic music. Its 6 years older cousin heard at this time the very current Acid House. This music was for it love at first sight; or better said, love on the first time hearing. This new and rhythmic world of electronic sounds fascinated it from the outset. A few years later it visited for the first time a Techno party and was inspired of it which went off there. Above all the DJ impressed it, as it with the correct selection of the plates and a good mix the people control and in Ekstase shift could. Ever it infected and visited themselves more with the Techno virus each weekend Parties. Nights long it danced to hot rhythms and driving Beats and observed in addition the DJs and their manual work on more details. The more Parties it visited, the more largely became its desire to try a presenting also times. Short time bought Electric bandit later its first record players and a mixer. Now it could mix finally the plates so into one another, as it fit it and slowly at its style and the mix techniques filed. In the year 2001 he became acquainted with DJ Rolandom and created with him the DJ-collective “Underground Pleasure”. From Rolandom’s experiences within the range presenting he could profit and learn a quantity. Gradually Electric Bandit’s own and unmistakable style crystallized. Its music moves today between minimal House and Tech House. It is a cosy bar or Lounge, a party in the open air, or a Afterhour in a dark cellar… Electric Bandit’s disk spectrum is broad and it loves it much to expose each kind to sound of party with the correct Beats and to make the people on the Tanzfläche lucky. Gradually Bookings in whole Switzerland and the young DJ followed gained many important, as well as interesting experiences. Until today Electric bandit turned its plates already in clubs like the stock of raw materials, Hive and the club Q in Zurich, the ship in Basel and many other larger and smaller locations in Switzerland and isolates also abroad. Its future he dedicates completely to the music.
